2JZ swapped drift R32
I just don't get some people, this kind of swap confuses me, I get why people put V8's into drift cars but why a Toyota straight 6 into a Nissan? I don't know much about the differences between a 2JZ and RB26 but it just seems like there would be a lot of unnecessary work to get an engine in and running that has pretty similar characteristics to the drop-right-in Nissan engine. It's like this:

i think torque has alot to do with it and the fact that you can slap on a 200$ holset and make 300 whp and it sounds unreal and is obviously way cheaper than the rb26

it honestly all comes down to what the person is capable of and ultimately wants. If you want a v8 in your import and are capable, chances are you'll do it ha.

usually cheaper to build, depends how build i guess. Different sound then RB26, usually pretty bullet proof.
Im assuming the main reason he did it was because he wanted to do something different from most gts-t owners

300 hp is almost stock. you can hit 400 with bolt ons ans usdm steel wheel turbos.. toyota just has the inline 6 perfected. the rb26 is a decent motor, just not as durable. an costs much more to get power out of.

no no no, its great until the warranty wears out and you actually have to pay to get it fixed.

It's just too bad that anything that has the warranty left on it isn't worth buying. Id drive a pre 98.5 though, preferably an early '98 with the 12v and a 5 speed. Get it up to like 350hp basically for free. I love the 94-02 body style. That is still one of my favorite looking trucks. Then I would crank the star wheel a little, hang a raccoon tail from my rear view mirror and go roll some coal on old ladies that are waiting to cross the street.
I just wish I could justify owning one when I am mostly in the city and rarely tow anything larger than a boat. The thing wouldn't even have a chance to warm up and I would be where I was going.
