Just deem it a 4 wheel motorcycle, must wear a helmet, etc. What an awesome summer toy that would be.

Sort of.

In Europe they have made been made with mostly Honda engines, either supercharged or Naturally aspirated. I beleive the first gen Atoms had B18's. The Ariel Atoms made in the states (they send the parts over and are assembled in Oregon) are powered buy a Supercharged GM Ecotec from the Cobalt SS.

They did that because that engine was already North America certified.

But there has been other engine choices slipped into the Atom on special order versions, or Atom 500 V8.

Just for gigles. a Chinese made Ariel Atom style knock off. Powered by 30hp 644cc engine. Weighs 750lbs. (in other words a stock D16 Honda would eat this thing for lunch)

The new atom is 2 haybusa motors mated together.

Seriously I don't think a lot of cars can pull of thoes big Voltex style time attack wings. You really need to have that whole look going on, and that car has it in spades. What a beauty! I would leg hump that's cars rear bumper if I saw it in person.

But that's not a Honda, that's a Supercharged M3. M3's aren't exactly known for their subtly. M3 race cars run wings just like that, hell even the factory GTR comes with a wing like that right out of the box. If anybody has the right to run a wing like that, it's that M3.
