| ok, so I've been told that the lover the ohms, the better/louder. But the problem with lower ohms, most subs/amps are not even stable there. So its all budget dependant. Correct me if I'm wrong. | |

| With less resistance it will be louder, so if you want to just go loud do it 2ohm, and if you want more quality go with 4ohm.
And yeah most amps aren't 1ohm stable. If yours is, then go ahead. | |

| It is also easier and usually cheaper to get an amp that will match your subs RMS power with a 2ohm load. To get an amp with a lot of 4ohm RMS power it will be more costly usually

| well, I had my 900W rockford running in 2 ohm, and just becasue I was bored, I wired it up for 4 OHM, and what a difference. I am running less wattage, but it sounds so much clearer and smoother. I would definatley recommend running 4ohm if you want some finesse out of your system | |

| Yeah if you really want some clean sounding quality bass, 4ohm will be suffice, you can get 8ohm subs but they usually only come in select models | |
