Anyone have experience installing aftermarket subs in a bmw with the stock deck... i have already attempted this once using a req5 (equalizer?) and i can get the amp to turn on but cant get no sound from the subs??? Its a logic7 13 speaker system

reQ is probabley defective....90 percent of them ship this way, either buy a JL cleansweep or just get a cheapy line converter.
