| I pretty much got confused after I did not see letter designations that included Ds, Es and Ts. my engine alphabet hangs out in the second half around S and K and sometimes R.
So not being a Honda intellect I would venture a guess and say to get an F20C and throw it into an AP1 chassis?
If that doesn't tickle your fancy and you are heart set on this hatch with a swap get the H22A and call it a day.

| k20 is alot of work to get in and running and will run you 7-10g all said and done.
If you plan on dropping 5g+ on a motor at least make sure you know what you're doing and do some research.

I agree... and i dont understand What is the fascination with honda? I mean if your going to build a car with over 300 WHP front wheel drive sucks ass! Wheel spin in fourth gear... thats cool if you like sitting at a light burning off your tires. If you have the money to buy a type R plus 7 to 10K to put into the motor you could buy some disgusting cars, hell with that kind of money you could import yourself a mk 4 twin turbo Supra that would actually be able to use that kind of power (300WHP+)

| i just think this kid needs to stop thinking ahead of himself. Sure you have a nice car, equally rare. But no one really cares about how much money your dad puts in your car. do some stuff to your car using your own opinion then show us what you really have created opposed to letting others do you deciding for you.. thats just my opinion. | |

| I am not going to get all up in your face about this but the best I can recommend is to do a lot of research. This is a local enthusiasts forum not a tech forum. Yes there are people on here who are well versed but you need to be looking in actual Honda forums and trying to find out what swap suites your needs. I am sure that all of these swaps you are contemplating have been done numerous times by numerous people so there should be loads of info on it.
We are all just going to give you our opinion and I am sure you are not honestly building this car for our envy, so do decide for yourself. But if you are doing it for our envy then buy a S2000, because thats the best way to get mine! Anyway, you honestly have three threads going and they all pretty much linked to the same general theme. Otherwise good luck and keep us updated (maybe in just one thread)

| I know people, the other part owners of kia are good friends of my family as well as my family knows kieth as well and was gonna buy into kia when it first opened also but what does it matter, im not here to try to pick fights or anything but i think people will agree with me that its kinda annoying to hear all about all this money that this kid wants to drop in all these cars and all these expensive ideas, and how a TYpe R isnt good enough when most of us are scraping by just to buy those rims or just to buy that exhaust etc. etc. | |
