quick question 2.5 to 3 inch muffler

hey guys i have a 2.5 skunk2 catback exhaust system. its is kinda loud and i foudn this ws2 (muffler only) for good price. the shitty part is that it has a 3'' inlet. i know i can make a bottle neck and match my 2.5 piping with this 3 inch muffler. the ws2 is a nicer exhaust in my opinion but im not sure what are the consequences of this custom change. anyone has any inputs. they are appreciated

yea but i was thinking that if i buy this one for cheap and sell the old one i could end up paying next to nothing...
but i think your right i should work on what i have already and worry about that later
