majestics car show

agree with toddler, as cool as it is that some of those cool restored cars are also dailys which is fine i think some shoulda been turned away, some look just like half the crap on the road.

wonder what the guys that put tons of time and money into there cars think when its been placed beside some beat to fuck car

One of the things I noticed was even on some of the nicer cars, it just seemed like they did a piss poor job detailing them.

Let's keep in mind that certain clubs enter cars and I those clubs endorse track use; there probably going to have broken bumpers and scratched paint...

Purpose built tire killing cars are the way of the future. Send all these perfect bodied, wonderful paint jobed piles of junk to the trash and replace em with rat rods and more than necessary built cars.

I wasn't saying everyone needs to have a brand new, 10k paint job done every year before the show. It doesn't need to be scratch free and perfect, just if your going in a car show, clean your dam car.

also keep in mind that it rained on friday so all the cars that got trailerd were clean . i go my car polish and i spent hours cleaning my engine bay and wheel wells and took off my wheels so i could clean the inside just so i could drive 30 miles on the highway in the rain (and no fender liners )
also its regina majestics not sema so lower your standards i personally thought it was 10x beter than last year no grand am no gold civc and i remember some rusted out pos's like the black impalla with truck wheels and holes in the fender . if the show was up to your guys standards there would be like 15 cars lol
oh and it turns out i got 3rd adam got second and the s2k got first guess they got the classes mixed up a bit lol

more cars would have been cleaner had they not had to drive through mud. qcma asked to put adam and benoits cars in as examples of cars used to do certain sports within the club, and as is true with all local car shows and every thing on the earth: you can't please everyone.

Really people go to car shows to see something unique, different or for an experience. My favorite cars to look at are the ones that get driven.

Honestly some people didn't like my car but some people were interested and that is cool to have someone appreciate what you have done or what you are into and it is a good learning experience for everyone. Anyway, that Rusted out Rat Rad was rad and you don't really complain about the style on that. No need to complain about other styles just because they ain't your flavor.

I sometimes wonder what will happen to classic cars and shows such as this.

i agree that the show was way better this year and I hope it keeps getting better. I hope you didn't pay to have your car polished kyle cause it was very swirly no offence. I agree with the fact that cars should be driven. The problem is that the same cars keep entering in the "show" and those cars get worse every year from being driven daily.

stfu toddler. At least he has a car that can get into a show. All you do is complain about the cars in there. If its such a big deal then dont go to the show next year. There is nothing worse than people who complain about majestics every year but STILL attend it every year.

The show has been happening for like 40 years, it is not like they are looking for an over haul or revamp. The Majestics people do fine job every year organizing an event for all types of car fans. Being critical of the cars they let in and hoping for it to get better really isn't going to change a whole lot, join the Majestics car club if you can and help organize it.

You can complain about Kyle's paint, my bumper or Adam's ride height because it is easy but it doesn't change things. I think having Kyle's car in the show gives muscle car guys a fresh perspective on Hondas. It shows them that not all Hondas are about kits and flashy paint, and glowing lights. IMO, the G35 was done all wrong and perpetuates import stereotypes created back in 2002 by NOPI. I would rather see more cars like the ones people drive on this board, as I think Imports have moved away from the "Hey, you can't help but look at me" faze.

At the very least if you are going to complain, build a car that you think is up to your spec and enter and never drive it. People should practice what they preach is all I am really saying.

P.S. I am not offended if you think my car didn't belong in the show, I really don't care. I enjoyed being in the show and I would probably do it again next year.

as would I, and no one but you and kyle benoit complained about my ride height, lol

I agree everyone can have their own opinion but when you come in here and say kyles car looked like shit then ya someones going to say something back.

what i think people are getting at is not that your car and other street driven cars dont deserve to be in a show just a different show. I like your car i just think street driven cars are more of say an access show and shine and show cars are more of a majestics, sure i dont agree with the whole trailing and showing of cars i think they should be driven but at the same time im paying to see cars i wont see otherwise (or very often) where as i see your car on the street
