Nice car picture post

$500-$600 compared to some of the rims people are buying that are $2000-$3000? im not trying to imply anything josh and you know that i think they will look great you car will be unique. Its just that I see the rims everywhere on the net.. fortunately for you none in the city!!

i am confused by the arguement.
do you hate them because they are cheap, or because they are popular.
they are obviously awesome wheels, and being that they are cheap makes them very attractive.
I have heard nothing bad about these wheels so i assume they are cheap, awesome and are a quality product.
thus why they are popular.
I could have bought a bianchi pista concept for 3000 dollars. it would have been a dinged up, 3 year old used frame (BBS RS').
but i bought a leader that was 500 instead which was just as awesome but didnt have a weird following jacking up the price (DIAMOND RACING WHEELS [or whatever the fuck they are called])
then got made fun of on the internet by some dude.

sorry was more pointed toward taylorvws comment.

im pretty sure they are hated because they are "the easy offset giver" or kinda like "selling out" or something like that. I personally don't agree with this opinion, in some cases they look excellent, the only that i dislike about them is that they are meant to be a track wheel so they are almost impossible to balance.

can you better explain that jhall.. i cant see the relationship between being a track wheel and being hard to balance

diamond racing wheels are designed to be a lightweight steel track wheel, because they are steel and light the bend easier then other wheels, you can balance them, they are a wheel, but ive read of guys diamonds constantly having to be rebalnced because the rim is minutely bending. wether you think they are cool or not they are designed to be a affordable substitute and they do not promote them as street wheels

widened steelies are a fad, people will soon realize that having bent wheels or re-balancing them quite a bit is an annoyance/ wasting money

Layne i do not hate the wheels in anyway, i love them its just gotten to a point that every second car(bare with me) posted on the forum has them. They are nice wheels but as bj said they are seemingly becoming a fad.
