The place is called EZ Blast, and it is freaking awesome. I did all of the parts I refinished on my car there, always came out looking amazing.

Regardless, unprotected metal will look terrible. Steel will rust, Aluminum will oxidize, etc.

And there is no way that it would cost $140 to do all 4 rims there. Me and Bert did 4 rims on the civic for under $30.

i couldnt sand these wheels with 80 grit, i got no where, 140 to get the paint off is very reasonable.

I would use this:
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/wheel.html

HWP103 - Special clear coat designed for rims.

Rim sandblasting/ paint removal? Dsc00418
Rim sandblasting/ paint removal? Dsc00419

undecided on getting the rims powder coated or just trying to make paint stick to them..... throw out your idea's on colour! (include pics if you have some)

auto electric took a look at the rims and think making paint stick will be difficult and more expensive then powder coating them, so im not sure if im going to spend 20 dollars on some rattle cans and a piece of sandpaper or if i go all out and powder coat.
