- are your headlights tinted black or is that some photoshop effect?
They are "smoked" 6 piece headlights. did they come like that? are the stock ones 4 piece? Stock ones are 6 piece as well. These smoked ones come in 6 piece and 1 piece, but I think the 1 piece ones are ugly. But lots of people dislike the 6 piece I have in there currently. Also the stock headlights look quite a bit different, these are oem ones, lots of people prefer these over anything.

| Soo funny, I know the paint is hideous... I just can't afford to get it painted yet.
What would you charge for a full paint job Marshal?

| I think the paint looks awesome on it. Well, it cost me under $400 in materials to do a complete paint job on my car. So can be the judge on how the paint looks on it. | |

| What type of paint do you use and how many coats usually?
Would I need to do the prep work in advance or do you do that as well?
As for your car I have never seen it personally, but I have heard the paint looks great on it. Ever have any issues with runs or anything?

| Its the same quality paint bodyshops use. Its actually the same brand of paint Regina Autobody uses. It was a primer, basecoat, clear system. You want as few layers of paint as possible, as the more coats, the thicker the paint is, and the more prone it is to getting large stone chips. I had one run in the new paint, that I have yet to take care of. They are easy to remove though, as I bought a special file that makes short work of them. you would take care of the prepworkl, as a paintjob is only as good as the prepwork. Great prepwork can make a shitty paintjob look great, its all in how much attnetion to detail you want to put in to it I guess. all in all, the actual paint take only a day at the most to apply | |

I am maybe going to go this route then come summer, only thing with the prep work is I might have to find a place to do it up there then or something... Unless I was to do it here then clean the car once I got there.. How long usually do you allow the car to cure for and avoid washing it, also do you avoid leaving in sun for a while as well?
