Weird sound after intake install

So i just install an intake on my civic.

sounds nice driving and whatnot but sometimes theres a screaming sound?

any idea what this is, and if i could fix it somehow?

Hm...my S started making a whistiling sound after my intake went in. You might actually be able to hear it in the video I posted up. If what we're hearing on our cars is the same, then it's pretty much due to the intake.

Maybe it's just the sound of unrestricted breathing now that it's not suffocating with the stock intake system

Mine makes a screaming noise. It is just amplifying the sound your throttle makes at half open. It is almost like a whistle.

well it does it in neutral? im not sure if it does when i drive it but at lights or when i park it, i can hear the sound really good.

could just be a faulty intake?
is your ecu throwing any codes? if not, it is fine.

there will never be a code from ECU from a faulty intake... Whats a faulty intake anyways? and air leak? even if you didnt have the intake at all the car would never know... i recommend drive without the intake around the neighbourhood and see if you still hear it.... i never seen some much problem from a piece of pipe

The intake wouldn't throw a code, but if it was another problem, you would see a code.
By faulty I mean...
Maybe the intake wasn't made in the proper way. AEM are so expensive, because they are made to allow optimal air intake into the engine, without the whistle. Or, they should anyways. That is what I have read.
An air-leak wouldn't cause the intake to make the whistle. The throttle is a butterfly valve. Opened part way, it whistles. That is what mine does, because it is ghetto. With a turbo involved, it would make it act in this way anyways, wouldn't it? Sucking in more air might = whistle?
