| Just wondering how long you guys have had to wait for SGI to get thier shit together and let you know what they're going to do about your car after an accident.
My dad hit a deer on the highway and it has been over a month for SGI to give him an update, front left fender and headlight are completely toast so it's not even that much damage (fiberglass fender). It's the black 73' 911 targa top that's duct-taped up you guys might have seen around town!

| my BMW was hit and run last year at this time, I just got money for it, but the damage was fixed not even a week after I bought the car in the SGI to get evaluated | |

| my experience they usually got back to me with everything within a week with something new and took a total of a month. i find if you can get a rental or something for the accident than they work at it faster. but I have heard it take up to 2 months for them to get their act together. | |

| If you want shit done, YOU"VE GOT TO CALL. Be polite, but be persistent. Going there in person helps alot too. remember, being polite is key | |

I went down there, the first time the person was away. the second time the person wasaway. The third time, I demanded to talk to someone, and I had a check arrive in my mail box 3 days later... Be understanding and polite, its not the persons fault SGI sucks, its just their job. be understanding of that, and it goes along way

| I don't know if anyone cares or still reads this thread but I thought I'd throw out an update.
SGI called yesterday and tomorrow morning they are bringing in a "specialist" to come to our house and assess the car. This is because "We are unable to place a dollar value on your car"
Alteast shit seems to be getting done.

| its either you slack it, dont call, and wait for months. or you do what I have done 3 times, which is call atleast once a day and annoy the shit out of them until they get shit figured out and your car is fixed in a maximum of 2 weeks. | |
