valves burried themselves into top of pistons, cams are scored to shit and ruined. valves are all bent.
guy who did the timing belt "finger" tightened a nut that came loose and bit my timing belt jumped timing belt off intake cam gear by 8 teeth causing death of my 4g.

I'm actually pretty calm about all this, I mean it sucks It will be down for over a month but that's just how life goes. Yeah 240 is last possible thing on my mind as of right now. Oh well.

Are you rebuilding the evo yourself? Maybe name drop the guy who did your work so others know better for next time. It wasn\t you was it... doesn\t really seem like Corey or Evan move to not tighten things.

Nooo, I got it done at a shop so I could escape head aches and avoid down time. I just really didn't wanna have to deal with it plus I am not a mechanic and timing is crucial.

Am i mad? Sorta yeah, I bought this car not only cause it was super clean but also cause of good compression/well maintained. now its blown to shreds. after 4500kms.

man if i were you i would go back to Hyundai and make them buy you a new engine. for reallzzss. Engines arn't cheap man! this way then money your about to spend on fixing your car will go into the 240??
