Curious though, are they legal for road use? I was under the impression they weren't due to safety reasons.

I assume the safety reasons he is reffering to are hitting your head on the bars ect, its safer if your wearing a helmet.

what happens to your head when you smash it into the cage in an event of an accident? on the track, you have a helmet, but not on the street.

cage is sexy nonetheless. fuck I wish i had one.

safer for the person who has it, but it can be unsafe for the person who hits you haha. cause your car would be a lot more rigid and solid

as for the safety issue, if you take your car in for a safety inspection with a cage like this, you wont pass, but i know of a couple guys who would pass it if you put rollbar padding on it.

its a hazard if you get into an accident and you smack your head on the bar. im so short and so far away from the bar, i figure if theres an accident that will throw me that far already into that with my belt on, then im going to be recieving some pretty heavy damage already as it is.

I just realized now how perfect that jeep plate is and the fact of you being so short looking in your car added with the huge wheels.

Anyway, the cage does look pretty sick.
