Autocross Sept 21

Test your ability to negotiate a pylon course on pavement. You can bring any car (must pass a tech. inspection) - we'll help you through the rest.

Any car/truck can participate, and you can have more than 1 driver per car. The inspection is pretty simple, as long as you have good brakes and also be sure your battery is attached properly and you'll be good to go.

Entry fees at each event: $20 for QCMA & affiliated Club members, $30 for non-members (join the club and get $10 back!)

Due to Track regulations each person will be responsible for purchasing a 'Pit Pass' that allows you to marshall on the track. It costs $5 for the year, or $2 per event - and is available from the Track Owners.

Registration begins at 12:30PM, the driver's meeting will take place at 1:15 PM, and first car out will be at 1:30PM.


3 Flags Motorsports Park:
Head out of Regina on Hwy 11 North, take Exit C. Turn left at the stop sign, through the underpass, and you will see the Park on your left. If you need further directions please ask.

so no one is interested in going out and learning how to drive fast?

Might if I don't work but chances are high that I work. I want to try it before its to late but won't worry if I don't get to.

When is the Sports Car Olympics? I wanna try and have my car ready by then.

yes... you can compete in only 1 event if you please but i believe it will be more expensive then a normal event.

There are 2 more events before sports cars Olympics.

lol thats not a good attitude.. i am considering this and mine is by no means a sports car (the sept 21 outing, not sports car olympics and if thats what you meant then i am mistaken)

dude... were out there in a 91 honda civic painted yellow and orange thats lowered on 40$ ebay springs. You dont have to come out with a ferrari. Just go and have fun with your car. ENJOY it. Your car is more then capable of beating most of the pack. i would say 80% of how good you do is how good you drive, not what you drive. A few years ago i saw an old man rip it up with an old Subaru Justy (4door if im not mistaken) ... he got the fastest time of the day. He fucking nailed every corner perfectly. Dont make excuses on your car, were not at laguna seca, were at a go-kart track.

somebody had this as their aviator, but forget who. Anyways, its 100% true. If you went to SIR's, i wouldnt expect you to do so hot.



just come out, dont worry about how good or bad you do. its your first time.

The last event there was a kid in a red 3rd gen integra. He ran the course with a best time of 2:12, while the pack was running around 1:45- 1:55. He had a little trouble shifting and getting around the track, but you know what? He atleast came out and tried and ill give him credit for that. No one made fun of him, no one laughed, no one CARED that he went slow. Were there to have fun and thats the main idea behind all of this.

I really would like to see more people come out. Its always funner when there are more cars going. (also me and garret would like to have at least SOMEONE else in your class to compete against and not just against each other)

EP304, The guys who won SCO last year. Bought a CRX the night before the event for $200. And I believe it was bought from a salvage yard or something. You don't have to be a top of the line sports car to compete.

there are guys that come out in super expensive cars, like a lotus super7 running a cosworth engine, and get beat by guys driving accents and old junkie corollas...nuff said

That was too funny. He was so confused/upset that an accent and a corolla beat him. lol

I hope I don't work I work tonight and inventory on Sat. If I don't and wake up in time I really want to I don't have a Helmet and don't know my class. If someone can help with those 2 I will gladly try it and be slow I know that.

club has helmets, just write down all your modifications on a piece of paper and bring that with you when you go out, someone from the club can class your car

If anyone comes out and needs help. I am more than willing to help out. Just look for me and the GTS4. I will be wearing a brown Billabong cap. Chin strap. I will probably be teching cars. My name is Ryan.
