So whats up any R33 coming yet?

i know there a handfull r32 skylines kicking around already in the queen city and sktoon, but i was wondering if there is any r33 coming pretty soon from anyone? and How much are we expecting them to go for?

well the r32 is alot lighter then the r33

I don't know if the weight is that tremendous, and he gets a sweet engine in it so I think the pay off for the R33 is a little better. I mean no one complains about he weight of the R34 and that is heavier than the R32 , I believe.. Also, I like how the R33 looks more than the R32....... thats just my opinion.

All skylines are heavy

R32 (GTR -->> (3152lb) (1430kg) GTS-4 -->> 1430kg (sedan)/ 1230kg (coupe)
R33 (GTR -->> (3373lb) (1530kg) GTS-4 -->> 1500kg (sedan)/ 1450kg (coupe)
R34 (GTR -->> (3395lb) (1540kg) GT -->> 1380kg (sedan)/ 1280kg (coupe)

There seems to be a bigger increase in weight from r32 to r33, but you can see that when r34 came out they paid closer attetion to this matter. In both trims GTR and non-GTR.

Thats all fine and good but don't some engines get better in the newer models. It seems to be that it evens out. ex: the rb25 that kris is getting is better than the rb20.

The R33 GTS type M that Kris is getting has a curb weight of 1370KG which is only about 3020 lbs. Both the R33 models listed above have AWD drivetrains which explains the higher weight.

Compared to an base S14 at 2750lbs. The R33 GTS isnt all that far off...only a fat 270lb passenger.

Actually looking at the page that the original post made states that the GTS Type M is only 1310KG which is only 2890lbs.

And there we have it.... the voice of reason.
