insurance bodyshop

So someone hit n ran the civic a while back, damaging a front fender and headlight. I'm claiming it through SGI, does anyone know of a bodyshop that is more lenient with installing aftermarket parts?
Instead of OEM headlights, i want to get an aftermarket one, I also want to get a lip kit painted. How would a bodyshop go about charging this?

Pat is a real stand up guy too, after a few days I found a fisheye in my paint and he took care or it no questions asked, and with a lifetime warranty, who can go wrong.

The guy at wheatons is really good. i would browse around and check various places.

Sorry, by aftermarket parts I mean like jdm as opposed to stock oem parts. How would they charge me, If my insurance claim only covered a new fender and single headlight and I wanted to change both headlights and both fenders, etc.

and what if i buy the parts used (ie. off a forum, so no receipts?)

have to check with the shop you choose,nut i supplied the fender when i had my car fixed by sgi and i didnt have much issue. the money SGI allowed to replace the fender i put towards painting my engine bay. Ralph at universal is who i have dealt with for body shop work

my brother and my mom both went to universal did a really good job on both cars and paint match was decent

why would they care if the parts are new or used or if you supply them?
SGI gives thm a set amount of money to repair the damage, anything above and beyond, you cover.

i was just worried that they might have needed paperwork ( receipts, etc. to prove that they ordered the parts.)

you can order your own parts and submit the recites to sgi and they will give you your money back to a certain point. and then give your parts the body shop
