Hey Guys. My girlfriend just has a little 04 grand am gt. It has brutal headlights. I live on a farm shes always driving gravel roads at night. Im wondering if anyone has any ideas that i could try to get her better visibility at night. Will getting HID bulbs even help? I know they aren't perfect in a stock headlamp but im just looking for improvement not perfection. Any help would be awesome to steer me in the right direction. Thanks

Yes those bulbs, other companies make them too, the part number is usually followed with X or XV like 9006xv. Also consider relaying the headlights using some 12g wire. Make's a noticeable difference, since you will be essentially running them direct off the battery.

Are the headlights pretty fogged up? The plastic headlights on that car can easily be cleaned up with a headlight restore kit you can buy from any auto parts store or if you have some 2000 grit sandpaper, wet sand them down and polish them with your favorite car polish. Also check for alignment against a brick wall (for a rough DIY alignment).
