Anybody ever order HID bulbs out of China?

Not a conversion kit, just the bulbs. Did they work ok? How long did they last?

I got some kits out of China on e-bay and they flicker a lot. I'm tracing a problem where one of my fogs is knocking out my instrument cluster. Brutal... thinkin about just ordering some different ballasts. Light out put and color are great though, had them in for a few months now.

One of my headlights is a china one for like 30 dollars.
The bulb I needed (with an impossible to find connector) was almost 300 dollars.

I just bought a 30 dollar china one and cut and soldered on the old connector and it is noticably different than the one that isn't from china.
It is fine though and I have had it for almost a year.

The brand is Super Vision. These say "conversion kit" in this pic. But I'm just ordering a few sets of standard issue D2S bulbs. Everything else is OEM Audi, Ballast, housing etc.

The headlight, or the headlight bulb? You supposed to replace HID's in pairs, the colour of light output changes with use. Not to mention 2 colours matching from 2 different brands wouyld be near impossible.

Super cheap. Like under $15 a pair. Which is why I might order a few sets, and if one gets roughed up in shipping or pops right away, no biggie. You can buy these in North America, like at HIDOutlet.ca but they usually go for $30 a bulb or $40 a pair. Phillips and shit go for like $80 a bulb and you can't pick the colour...

These ones start at 3000k and go up to 30,000K. These charts aren't for them, but you get the idea. OEM Audi is around 4300k

Well I want to order right now, I'm ordering 6000K for mine. Does that work for you? Or do you want it more blue?

I can order single bulbs or ballasts or w/e you need direct from my supplier in China if you ever need just hit me up... I can probably swing you better price then just buying "Private"

That's good information for the future. Do you keep anything on hand in way of D2S/D2C bulbs? And what do they cost?

unfortunately no i dont keep stock just for the sole reason its hard for me to know what to stock or have laying around and waiting for the one day someone needs something you know? However if i was to order them in one of my bulk orders you probably looking at say $10/bulb roughly

on avereage anywhere from 1-2 weeks all depends on how busy their production line is... usually just over a week

it takes about 1 week.

I just had a LOL moment when I opened my email. Got my usually weekly e-flyer from ECS tuning.

I bought those exact same bulbs, same packaging, same everything but in 6000K, 4 of them, so I would have a set of spares later on....$35 for all 4 bulbs, and that included shipping to my door.
