What did you do to your car today?

Picked up a S13 k's Silvia with a SR20det swap.. where to start on it to get it running properly and saftied

Dug into the ridiculously complicated factory stereo system of a 25 year old mercedes. 2 amps, 10 speakers and a factory alarm make things a little harder then they need to be.

bought the car in Lethbridge Alberta.

reloaded my R-Card with 20 more trips...

Re ran vaccum lines, found a place for boost controller, and looked at removing all egr crap

made a car that looked like mine in NFS Shift 2. The hood was tricky....

washed it.

bought a test pipe cuz my exhaust isnt loud enough ordered a manual tensioner set and a timing belt bought paint to spray the new hood and sunroof as well bought some finishing stuff to complete de-badging my trunk ... cars are to dam expensive

I've bought several parts this winter, all in the garage waiting. Having a hard time getting motivated to go actually work on it though

just another SR20DET to swap in place of the blown ass one thats in it (Silivia S13 K's)
And Zimm is going to go get it for me and grab himself a MAF so it worked out for both of us.

pretty productive day finished off some engine shit and got brakes re assembled and installed.

cars almost ready to roll

cleaned up all the dust under my rear seats, put the battery in, cruised it to the carwash and then parked it again. need to get it in my parents garage and get the suspension out, new bushing pressed in and tires mounted.. Wish I would started buying parts 2 months ago..

New Center Caps!






I got a undamaged OEM paint hood, moved the hood vent spoiler over, stripped and repainted the grille spoiler and lower trim piece. Repaired the little race bikes crash damage, and started putting it back to street trim. Also started to play with the stereo on the VW, getting ready to change it up/upgrade a bit. (blown rear speakers FTL)

Ahh Garage time feels good! (Brain damage from paint fumes, not so much.)

blew the timing belt up on my SIR on the side of ring road last night... didnt take long for the cops to arrive asking me why i was there and saying they'll tow it if i dont have it moved

started on the brakes.... fuckers dont wanna come apart painted the new hood (looks ok in the dark needs more coats) got my h23 manual tensionner set to replace the auto one on the timing belt. Gotta get doing some work! wanna be cruising in it this week some time
