Minimum Wage vs. Gas Prices

So as many of you probly know, minimum wage jumped up $0.35 today making it $8.60. I'm starting to think even if they are uppin' gas prices minimum wage is raising also. So pretty much It is evening out and isen't any different from back when gas was under a dollar we just were making as much?

I agree but i need a new job cause making minimum doesnt always fill the tank

walmart east is hiring in automotives lol. Very fun place to work although we almost got canned tonight.

Store manager walked in just after couple other guys took the display dirtbike out for a rip around the parking lot lol, very close call

really hmm i may have to look into that cause well how much you get paid cause im not making enough to pay off car loans and gas and just living lol

well im not sure how much im making now cause of wage increase, but most new guys start around 9.20, the more experience you have with other jobs the more you make.

Princess Auto, $10.85 starting. you should apply, you basically stock shelves and help customers. Easy stuff.

ive got two raises at my job and the new workers are making just about as much as i am and there at minimum wage, i think everyone elses wages should go up to

Uh they did for me. Maybe you should go talk to your manager/boss about that.

Mine dont go up either, some places dont give raises with minimum, but you should still be getting one every so often anyway.

yeah, i get a 50 cent raise every 500 hours, but i still think the government should make it a law that everyones wagegoes up when min wage goes up.

Or just get a new job everytime minimum wage goes up, clearly the simple solution.

Just put gas in tonight ... $52 from 1/4 tank ... most money I have ever put in my car!

last time i gassed up it was 72 dollars
but now i am trying to drive as little as possible and gas up once every 3 weeks

I usually fill up every 2-3 weeks from half - 1/4

I'm not planning to cut back on any driving while here in Regina but when I move to Saskatoon at the end of August its the bus for me since they make me buy a bus pass with my tuition anyways, I will only be driving for things like groceries.

I filled up tonight at $1.319 for regular

47$ to fill my tank from 1/8th. god damn i need a honduh
