| what is the problem??? put a spark plug in the coil wire and rest it on valve cover, also mist water on it see if arcs out, they are known to fail but theres two ways to test with out having a spare coil |

budy of mine bought the car and it wont start. its still parked on broadway and park. it turns over but wont go beyond that. there seems to not be spark going so for what i have read it might be this ignition coil. the wires look new and the dizzy cap looks new as well.. i just want to see if i can borrow this thing to make sure this is whats wrong before we go and buy something.
i checked the fuses and they are all good |

Yeah good chance. VW's are famous for the Hall Sensor in the Dizzy crappying out. |

| k so ill try this ignition coil from Clint Eastwood then if it doesnt work ill try getting a distributor. anyone have one i can borrow to test? sucks not having a honda where you can get parts from anywhere.... |

| MK3 GL, is a 2.0ABA motor. And I do not have any of those kicking around for you to try.
PM Bogan (Turtle), he probably has something lying around. Other then that go visit Cam at CWS. |
