Is anyone running AutoCAD on Windows Vista? I have AutoCad 2008 (32-bit), and my verision of Vista is 64-bit, it won't let me install it. I can also get CAD 09 but its 32-bit aswell so I'm assuming that it isn't going to work.

If anyone has CAD in a 64-bit version please let me know, or if anyone can get a hold of a copy.

i dont think it matters if you have the backup cd.

Yeah sure, but i got a hold of some modified files for acad 2008 32-bit so that it can work on 64-bit, and now its all good but when i go to install it it says there is some files missing, im going to try to get another copy cause i think this one is messed up, if not then ill possibly get 09 32-bit.

You can try it if you want, give me a call 527-5627 I'll have it on me, If it works on yours then i can burn a copy but I'm doubting it will cause I think there is files missing on the cd i have.

luispizarro25, I have another week before i can't take the computer back, so if it finishes sometime this week then it'll be all good, and I will also give you some cash.

It's all good, i found some modified files for the 32-bit version of 08 and installed it on my computer.

If anyone needs these files (they allow 32-bit AutoCad 08 to be installed on 64-bit Vista) let me know
